Photograph the intact hand to estimate measurements and a starting print scale for the Phoenix hand.

1. 01 Place your open hand and a standard-size card on a flat surface.
2. 02 Photograph from directly above. Show every finger, your wrist and all four corners of the standard-size card.
3. 03 Use even light, a plain background and a sharp, glare-free photo.

Use any standard-size card (85.60 × 53.98 mm), such as a standard-size ID, credit or debit card. Avoid showing personal details on the standard-size card; a blank standard-size card also works.
